SATELLITE NAVIGATION HIRE & SALES
..with a difference!!!

We at Driving Adventures have very demanding expectations of what we require from a Sat Nav unit. Getting from A to B isn’t good enough. We require the ability to control exactly how we get to our destination. 

The premium units we use allow us to “draw” a route, not just select waypoints and leave it up to the Sat Nav unit to decide how it will join them together. This means we have complete control to tailor a route ensuring we only go on the roads that we intend.

Our premium units also have the following benefits:
- Utilise excellent source mapping with all of Western Europe preloaded.
- Have text to voice recognition (i.e. they don’t just tell you to turn left but also name the 
  street you are to turn onto).
- Use touch screen technology.
- Fully remote control – this is very important as it allows you to zoom in and out in to show you 
  the required level of detail without having to touch the unit (which in a bumpy sports car can 
  be a challenge!).
- Fully water proof so can be used by motorcyclists and in convertible cars.

We can demo the units at a group briefing prior to the trip. We are then contactable 7 days a week for support if there are any issues along the way

Hotels
As a tour operator we can organise all the hotels, ferries or Eurotunnel on your behalf, dealing with all the contracts while ensuring the safety of your members deposits utilising our Bank Trust Account

Route Packs
We can prepare professionally printed route packs to include:
- Detailed itinerary
- Summarised information regarding the route (as the detailed routes are in the Sat Nav units)
- Vital hotel information
- Vital local information 
- Translation sheet for each of the countries you’ll be travelling in

Two Way Radios
We can sell or hire to you our powerful and robust licensed 2 way radios.
These are not the usual poor quality unlicensed walkie talkies that crackle and are of very little real use in moving vehicles.

The range will vary upon the terrain, but on average, 2 miles will be loud and clear, although we have had them working at 13 miles in altitude!

Their battery life is a full day, while recharging takes just a few hours in a light weight portable charger.

Please note – we only hire out our radios as part of a package which includes the Sat Nav systems (although the Sat Navs can be hired without the radios).
