A GUIDED ADVENTURE
How Our Guided Adventures Operate

From experience we’ve learnt that the majority of customers when travelling through many miles of unfamiliar terrain prefer to be guided by a lead car with guides who have pre driven the route rather than having to bother with the arduous task of reading detailed route packs. 

Being guided by a lead car has many advantages including:

· Freeing you of the burden of map reading which allows you to fully enjoy the roads and scenery you’ve travelled so far to see. Passengers, who by default become navigators, especially appreciate this!

· It’s much safer for those travelling solo as there’s no temptation to try and read your route pack on the move.

· There’s no worry or stress about getting lost (that’s our worry!).

· You’ve no need to try and plan where to stop for lunch or fuel, as we’ve already gathered many options when pre driving the route.

· You won’t have to be concerned about finding your hotel each evening.

· It keeps everyone together which really is one of the enjoyable spectacles of travelling as a group.

· If there are any changes to the route required, for example adverse weather, road works or an accident, there’s no panic, simply leave it to the lead cars to take you on an alternative route.

In order to operate this system effectively, each car is fitted with in-car communication allowing the lead vehicles to guide you through the tour while still giving you the freedom to enjoy driving your car at your own pace, simply move on ahead or hold back at will in the comfort of knowing we’re all within close proximity of each other and can regroup whenever required. 

Each tour will have a minimum and maximum of customer cars that can be accommodated by each lead car depending on the nature of the tour. 

Each lead vehicle will carry tools to assist the on-tour mechanic (if applicable) with any roadside issues and will also carry a spare Sat Nav system in case anyone has to leave the group and travel directly to the overnight hotel. This allows you to break away from the group without the worry of finding you’re hotel as it will all be programmed into the navigation system for you.

Lunches (Not included in the package price unless specified)

In order to enjoy as much flexibility in the day as required depending on weather conditions, road works or any other variable factors, we generally do not book any prearranged lunches. However, we will have a list of recommended places to eat at each of the locations we intend to stop in. 

Evening Meals (Not included in the package price unless specified)

We do not operate a regimented system dictating where and when you should eat your evening meal. Generally, all hotels we book have their own restaurants. As with the lunch stops, we will have a list of recommendations for you to choose from in the local area or you can simply go off and explore for yourself.
